Overnight in the hotel in Lisbon.

Take the coastal road to Cascais, reputed seaside resort, and drive always along the rocky shore line up to Cape da Roca, the westernmost point of Continental Europe. Keeping the ocean on your left, proceed to the surfers’beaches of Ericeira.

Lunch free – suggestion a seafood meal in one of the many local restaurants.

After lunch continue on to Óbidos, likely to be the most loved Portuguese Medieval village.

Walking tour in the old town… and to recover your strength try a wild cherry liqueur served in dark chocolate cups.

Arrival at Nazaré for dinner and overnight

Full day excursion to Coimbra, artistic city and siege of one of the oldest Universities in Europe founded in 1291. We shall visit the University Renaissance building and the baroque library. The visit of Coimbra will not be complete without Santa Cruz Church where the manueline tombs of the founding Portuguese kings are kept.

Lunch on your own

Return to Nazaré along the Atlantic coast among high dunes and pinewoods. Stop at São Pedro de Moel, one of the most spectacular beaches of this country.

Back to Nazaré and visit of the “Site of the Miracle” on the high cliff towering over the fishing village.

Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Morning free for relaxing and exploring Nazaré on your own. Lunch free.

Around 2PM leave Nazaré with your luggage and on the way to the airport visit Batalha and its monastery, masterpiece of the gothic architecture in Portugal and a brief stop at Fátima, Catholic Marian shrine.

Take an evening flight to Funchal – about one hour and 20 minutes flight.

Arrival at Funchal and transfer to the hotel of your choice.

According to the arrival time, a cold meal can be arranged and have it sent to your room.

Overnight in hotel in Funchal

Full day guided tour of Funchal and surroundings – discover the charms of the old town – the gothic cathedral, the sugar museum ,the wine museum and the fruit market.

Drive or take the breathtaking cable-car up to Monte to visit Berardo Gardens – one of the most beautiful in the world ! –

Lunch will be served in panoramic restaurant.

Dinner and overnight in the selected hotel

Enjoy this morning relaxing by your hotel swimming-pool or dive in the calm blue Atlantic

Lunch on your own .

In the afternoon excursion to Cabo Girão, a cliff 500 meters high from where one has marvelous panoramas over the ocean, banana plantations and the city of Funchal.

Dinner in a typical restaurant to taste the local cuisine and enjoy folk dances.

Overnight in the hotel

After breakfast transfer to Lisbon Airport.
