Arrival at Madeira Airport and receive an orchid as a welcome to the Island of Flowers. Transfer to your lodging in Funchal : it can be in a Quinta, a noble farmhouse surrounded by gardens and banana plants transformed into hotel overlooking the Funchal bay or any other hotel of your own choice.

Full day guided tour of Funchal and surroundings – discover the charms of the old town – the gothic cathedral, the sugar museum ,the wine museum and the fruit market. 

Drive or take the breathtaking cable-car up to Monte to visit Berardo Gardens – one of the most beautiful in the world ! –

Lunch will be served in panoramic restaurant.

Full day excursion with typical lunch included. We leave Funchal driving among banana plantations and vineyards up to the impressive cliff of Cabo Girão 500 meters high

chasm over the ocean.

Drive on along the southern coast by lovely Ribeira Brava until the small harbour of Porto Moniz.

Return to Funchal will be through the cliffs and valleys of the wild Northern coast where waterfalls cascade vertically to the sea.

Dinner on your own.

4th DAY – Morning at leisure. Lunch free. 

Afternoon visit the Botanical Garden of Funchal and an orchid farm.

Dinner will be in a typical restaurant with local music live.

Overnight in the selected hotel.

Transfer to Funchal airport.
